Real Food Direct, together with our producers are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions, comments or even new products you would like us to stock, please e-mail us at admin@realfooddirect.co.uk

Out of Stock Policy

If items are out of stock we will e-mail you to suggest an alternative product or advise of lead times. For our hamper orders we reserve the right to replace any out of stock items within the hampers with alternative, comparable products of equal or higher value.

Delivery Schedule

For UK orders we will send your order out within 2 working days of receiving it. Please note that delivery addresses should be day-time addresses and will need to be signed for. For international orders please contact us for prices and lead times.

We cannot stress more strongly that the address given for delivery MUST be one where someone is present to sign for the goods during office hours. Delivery will be attempted twice by our couriers and if there is no-one in the goods will remain at the local depot where the customer may collect. If no contact is made by the customer within a few days the goods will be returned to the Real Food Direct warehouse, after which there will be a £19.95 re-delivery charge.

Credit Card Security

Real Food Direct use SECpay Payment Providers to process all orders.

SECpay uses 128-bit encryption to safely transmit credit card information across the internet. For added security your credit/debit card details are processed by SECpay and are never seen or stored by Real Food Direct.

Complaints Procedure

Any complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days, and will be resolved to mutual satisfaction within 15 working days. During the interim the customer will be informed of the progress. In the first instance contact Paul Hargreaves at paul@realfooddirect.co.uk, and he personally will endeavour to resolve the problem. If the complaint is due to our carriers, FedEx, we will resolve it with you the customer first, and settle the issue with our carriers later.

Any comments at all on our products or service will be taken very seriously as we strive to become the most reliable on-line supplier of specialist food and drink. Likewise any products that you would like to see featured - let us know!

Privacy Policy

Information is collected from order details, occasional competitions, and through e-mail enquiries. From time to time, this information may be used to inform of special offers and the like. If you do not want to receive this information, please let us know at the time of your enquiry.

Real Food Direct do not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Cookies are used on this site but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  • your phone number
  • your email address

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

We will not send unsolicited emails to consumers unless you have given us your consent. If you email us or order from us, but do not wish to continue to receive regular bulletins, then please send an email with the word "unsubscribe" and your address will be deleted.
